Yum . . . minestrone is one of my favorite soups. I have never made it myself though. I only eat it in good Italian restaurants. Maybe I'll have to give it a try.


Yes, soup is the only way to survive this sort of weather.

How strange - just made a pot of minestrone (for 2) today. I am very traditional though, fresh tomatoes, zucchini, savoy cabbage, orzo, lots of parsley, oregano, basil. Parmesan rind of course. Can't wait to indulge tomorrow.
